The UMA has been growing a lot lately.  Last month was a new record for posts and views and threads started.  It was 2nd to the month before in new members (last November's stat included a bunch of spambot registrations, which were deleted and doesn't count).  We have a number of celebrities who post here from time to time, and no telling who is out there reading and not posting.  Billy Bob Thornton was talking about being a fan of monster movies and Famous Monsters in a rather infamous interview a few weeks ago.  Crispin Glover (who I am a fan of) is on my Facebook friends list and may notice the occassional post about the UMA and be interested to check it out.  We wouldn't start a thread about creepy UMA members and while I know the intent was all in good fun, and I consider Charlie Manson's sagging swastika to be fair game, I'm thinking this may not be the best idea.  I'm not locking it, but just wanted to offer some food for thought.
