It's a Henry Alvarez Elvira bust.  He did a full torso Elvira, with boobs!

Monsters were in the air at last weekend's show. As I passed through
the hotel lobby, Hunchback '23 and Phantom '25 were screening
in a nearby lounge.

Let's start where all the action is: Monsterpalooza's vast Dealers Room:

A 12" Imhotep figure and various busts by Todd Rex of LabRats, Inc >

The "Gabba Ghoul" that I posted elsewhere, created by MengMonsters >

Dang, I can't recall who made this Nosferatu >

But I do remember seeing this Hatbox Ghost at the "Createx Colors" booth,
made by imagineer Joey Nilges for Disney and finished in Createx paints >

Full-size figures of some favorite nightmares, seen at Eric Yoder's table >

'More pics to come soon ...

Dealers Room, continued:

The Halloween Society had plenty of scary cool stuff to offer, presided over by
a few of their limited mask editions >

I'm not sure it was for sale but Blok4 Studios had a giant Aurora Mummy
figure set up in the hallway >

Blok4 also had a strong presence in the walk-through 'Palooza Museum
which we'll get to shortly ...
I had watched a couple of Poltergeist movies in my hotel room Saturday night
and came face-to-face with one of their ghosts at MageeFX the following morning.
'Talk about a waking nightmare!

It was a thrill seeing an Alfrey Creature emerging from foliage
at the "Vixen by Micheline Pitt" booth >

That head in the case next to it is actually a ladies handbag >

The zippered compartment runs right along the top, lol >

Frankenstein was the featured creature at FoamFabber's booth >

Their "Jack Davis"-inspired Monster was way over "six feet tall" ...
actually closer to nine!

'Lots more pics to come later ...

Mike Scott

Great pix! Love the Creature bust!  :)

(^) I have a make on this previously posted Nosferatu plaque.
It's by "Cast from Dungeon FX".

I didn't take too many pics of fans in costume but here's a few >

'Thought this one was clever >

Someone had on a Death Studios Barlow  mask,
seemed quite impressed that I recognized it >

This dayglo Mummy  drew a crowd everywhere he went >

Soon to be joining the parade was this "Gill-Girl",
still in makeup at the DYAD fx booth >

I never got pictures of the finished job but believe
it was pretty far along at this point >

Next up, we'll creep through the Monsterpalooza Museum.
'Should be ghoulish good fun!
