Charles 'Bud' Tingwell, Dracula by Proxy

Actor Charles 'Bud' Tingwell has passed away here in Melbourne.
Though best known in Australia and the UK, Mr Tingwell will be remembered by Hammer fans as the hapless Alan Kent, whose vital juices are, well, utilized to resurrect Christopher Lee in an infamous scene from DRACULA PRINCE OF DARKNESS.

He also voiced numerous characters in Gerry Anderson series such as THUNDERBIRDS and CAPTAIN SCARLET & THE MYSTERONS.

And he was Inspector Craddock in the series of films featuring Margaret Rutherford as Agatha Christie's Miss Marple in the early 60s.

I always enjoyed his roles, this is sad news. The Miss Marple series was always a favorite of mine , so I'm sure that the harpsichord theme will be played in Heaven tonight, rest well inspector.
