When are they ever going to release this movie on dvd?  I remember it as a kid, and a I loved it.  I just have not seen it since.  It was the original predator movie before Predator.  The actor who played the alien in Without Warning also played the Predator.  Does anyone have any info on this?

Apparently the story goes like this.  Whether its true or urban legend is anyone's guess.  Without Warning came and went.  Fox saw it, and saw the potential in it.  Bought all rights, etc. to it.  Then made it go away.  A few years later Predator came out.  Kevin Peter Hall  played the Alien in WW as well as the original Predator creature.  This was after Jean Claude Van Damme was axed from playing the predator and Stan Winston was called in.  I have a decent copy on dv-r.  If it ever sees a commercial release, the dv-r will promptly go into the garbage.  There was a neat bust made of the creature in a garage kit.  I have it, will post pics later. I love this film, and you are right.  If ever a film was deserving of a decent release, its this b grade gem.

I can't wait to see your pictures of the alien bust you have!  And hopefully it will see a commercial release soon on dvd!  Thanks for the info!

I've only seen this flick once, at the drive-in on it's original release. I remember we kinda liked it, especially the "Outer Limits" looking alien and the horrible flesh/disk weapons he threw!

That is the right flick, isn't it??   :-\
