In the movies, it always rains at funeral and snows on Christmas.  (But then people almost never go to the bathroom, etc.)

Anywho...  I live in southern California where it almost never snows.  But this Christmas we are expecting to get an unusually heavy rain - perfect for kids who get toys that can only be played with out of doors.  No one ever explained to me how Santa negotiated a wheel-less sleigh over our dry streets when I was a kid - and I never thought to ask.  (Not a bright kid who lived up to his potential.)

My best friend lives about 350 feet away.  I already walked all my Christmas packages over to her house, so I don't have to take them over in the wet of Christmas day.

It made me wonder.  With all the harsh weather being forecast all over the U.S., what will YOUR Christmas climatic conditions be like?

Anyone out there having a traditional movie snowstorm?  Give us a general idea of you location and what you are expecting your Christmas weather will be like.

Streets? Where Santa is going . . . he won't need streets!

No snow on the ground and none forecast for the rest of the week. Temps in the 40s anf 50s.

No signs of snow in Cincinnati. What's strange is that my home territory in Northern Idaho has had very little snow this year and it's not looking like it's gonna happen tomorrow either.

Strong wind gusts too. All my neighbors' Christmas inflatables are
blowing around in the street. 'Thought I saw a Santa fly by earlier.

There is some spot in California where they are expecting a year's annual rainfall (16 inches) in a 5-hour period.

Lots of flood warnings all around and the wildfire burn areas are bracing for mudslides.

Glad I don't live in those places.
