Avery interesting and informative post. It did bring back a lot of memories of the days when spending $35 for a rubber mask seemed impossible, and all we had were the photos in Famous Monsters to fuel our dreams.

I've told this story here before, but when I was maybe 8 or 10, visited Six Flags Over Mid-America with my family, and in the gift shop was what was probably a Don Post Wolf Man. I asked my dad to buy it for me, but he scoffed at the $50 price tag. A mere $312 in today's dollars!!

I was a deprived child, I tells ya'.
