Happy Birthday to 2025 and to Lon Chaney's Phantom of the Opera
who turns one hundred this year. Show him you scare ... err "care"
by posting pics of Phantom masks. Here's a few DPS versions I've
encountered over the years:

This one was my first, the 800 line DPS version from 1966 >

'Followed it up years later with a "highbrow" >

Shortly after, I scored my first "Calendar" version >

That's me, wearing the whole ensemble, circa 1975 >

I scored another "highbrow" not long before they
went out of production in the mid 1970s >

There were a few others but those were my vintage copies.
I also have a custom-finished reissue which I've displayed
at conventions >

... and now for a handful from other maskmakers:

Trick or Treat Studios' version >

Savage Eye's version >

Alvarez Wax Models' version >

Mike Hill's version >

Erik in one of his over-face masks >

... and let's close it out with a nifty pair of old style DPS Phantom  hands >

Post some pics in reply and wish Erik the best, while you can ...

Thanks for the reminder! I have the "normal" TOTS version that I picked up at DonCon, but not a very good shot of him. However, I did get it signed by Justin Mabry so I got that going for me. Here's all my swag from that con:

Doh!

Latex is a bit thin, plus the front is longer than the back. Savage Eye I bought from our dear friend Gory Glenn. Hadn't met him before DonCon, but he sold me Frank for a fair price. We were friends ever since.

RIP, buddy!

Josh

A few months ago I got a master mold copy of the 800 Phantom.

Last year I also got an 80s high brow Phantom.
