Just finished the Moebius Frankenstein kit. This was my first attempt at doing a non-green Frankenstein. This kit came out in 2009, I had assembled it, but had not painted it. Now 15 years later I decided to have a go at it. The head that came with the kit had a lot to be desired, so I had ordered a resin replacement head for it back in 2009 from where I don't recall. For some reason the top of the right ear had gotten broken off, and the front right neck bolt, so I had to resculpt the ear and make a new neck bolt. I also made a wall for the back opening in the door with some aves epoxy sculpt and a flat polystyrene sheet. I also used some balsa wood, and redid the floor of the base it just looked too cartoony to me. And also for some reason Moebius left the sides of the rock wall smooth so had add texture to those. This kit was quite the workout, it took me about 25 days to complete.

Sounds like you rebuilt the whole wall! Looks great! Frank, too. And no green coat, neither!

Actually I meant non-green, as in skin color. I would never do a green coat on Frankenstein, that would be sacrilegious.

Whether playing for fun or profit,
aqui understanding the odds is crucial for making informed bets.

That sounds like an incredible project with a lot of dedication and creativity! Fixing the resin head, resculpting the ear, and adding a new neck bolt must have been a challenge, but it's great that you brought the kit to life after 15 years. The extra details you added, like the textured rock wall and improved floor, really show your attention to realism. It's always satisfying to see a long-awaited build finally come together!
