I don't think sideshow makes regular action figures like they used to. They will most likely be very large.
I bet they're gonna look really good tho.

Looking at a photo online is probably about as close as I'll get to one.

The original Sideshow Uni figures are commonly available on the secondary market at prices which are very attractive compared to the stratospherically priced new "premium" figures. The originals are still great figures and if I was a new collector that's the route I would go. I have a real aversion to overpriced new items and I won't support them.

Here's the first Universal Monsters figure they dropped since making the announcement.  Gill Beast: Namazu Vinyl figure. No others have dropped yet as far as I can tell.  They sent me this link when this dropped 3 months ago because I signed up to be notified when new Universal Monster figures dropped.

Well, there's this one too. if their focus is on non movie aesthetics, I won't even be tempted. Are we sure these are Universal though, and not adjacent to them? At any rate, this one looks nice, but I ain't biting.

I thought the same thing looks good but didn't buy.

If they are going to focus on non movie versions, it just makes it easier for me to save money.

I still don't see anything on SS site that says these are connected to Universal Studios. So perhaps they are adjacent inspirations with no official licensing?

Neither of the two products are produced by Sideshow nor are they licensed Universal Monsters items. The things coming from Sideshow are licensed and on model and haven't been solicited as yet.

There's no way in the world I can afford to buy these at $800 a piece (plus) shipped. It's nice to see though. Even if I could manage it, I dont have the room.
