Hey everyone, heard earlier this week that a member of the Creature from the Black Lagoon family past away : Ginger Stanley

Some of us lucky to encounter her over the years know she was a very decent charming woman. She was 91.

91, wow! I believe the obit I read said she died on Jan. 19.

Thanks for the post. I hadn't heard she passed away. I always wanted to meet her, but never had the chance. She was an excellent actress.

With her gone, ricou browning is the only stunt person from this era I can still think of living. We never knew who stunted for Lori Nelson in the last creature movie right

I was able to correspond with her some last year and it was so, so great to tell her how much her work meant to me. We chatted about her mermaid diving shows and how there used to be something of that same variety near where I live.

And with Ginger's passing, it seems that the Creature himself had nothing left for which to live.
