I was wondering about the two open holes on the side also. Maybe they were going to add sound effects, the holes would have made the sound effect less muffled. But if so they could have changed the design before going into production, so who knows.

Sounds more probable than my light hearted comment. I was attempting a jab at how long its taken for them to get on our shores and unpacked. It probably is just as you suspect. Just out of curiosity (since I didn't buy one)...does it have bulbs? Also...does it make any noise?

It has bulbs. Three different settings controlled by a lever on the control panel. (1) Lights all on, (2) Lights all flashing/strobing, (3) just the white light above the lab table lit. No sound effects.

It is objectively awesome... other than the fact that the one insulator pole doesn't light up.

A week and a day AFTER the Walmart event, I get an email saying the London After Midnight figures will be arriving next week, and not tomorrow as the original date said.
I'm not impressed but I am glad I won't have to drive all over looking for them.

I didn't know Walmart had the London figure up for order, Thanks for the post.
Listened to the live event, (couldn't see it, though Walmart has put it on Facebook now).
Ordered the London figure from Walmart, total plus shipping 48.05. 

It will be shipped from Neca, maybe it will arrive ok, if any damage to box, it will be the one that's opened.  Found Nosferatu at BAM bookstore in my area, and got an extra Phantom recently at local Walmart both for 34.99 + 3.40 tax.  Hate to pay more for Walmart Live site shipping, but so wanted this London figure.  Supporting the Walmart retail store's offer on this figure too, as it's hard to access Neca site, and hoping it keeps Neca from having these figures exclusive to themselves.

Early this day went into one of my local Walmart and they had down sized their collector space in the tv/electronic dept.  asked if that was it for their collector figures section, and a worker said yes, they have come in and took away what was three shelves of figures etc. to one shelf against the back wall.
Odd, given it was told on the Walmart live event, by Neca, that Walmart will carry an Exclusive line of their Horror figures this June.  Oh well, just clearing out all the Pops figures, left quite a barren space I'm sure.

London After Midnight arrived and I swear it is even more beautiful in person. My favorite figure in the line, easily.

Mine will be here tomorrow. Can't wait to see it in person. I'am surprised they shipped these as fast as they did. I ordered mine on the 23rd of March on the Walmart website. I also placed an order with NECA for the glow in the dark Dracula on the 20th of March and still have not received any notice that it has shipped. I sent NECA an E-mail today inquiring as to the status of this order, Im sure that will go over well, it's only been six business days and they will probably just ignore my E-mail or send me a snarky remark. I know that I'm not the only pebble on the beach, but had a snag when ordering it. I did get a confirmation  order was placed but just want to check.

My brother got his. It's lovely. I shall wait and get mine from my buddy's shop. He managed to get most of the rest before big box, so I will wait and support him on this release.

Had gotten an email that my Walmart order would arrive a week earlier than originally stated.
In a firm box, with cardboard inserts to keep the figures box from moving inside, and protect the hanging tab even.

It is Fantastic, another fine collector piece from Neca, and if this is how Walmart operates, I will gladly purchase from them again on needed missing figures.

Also, Neca said on their Walmart live chat, that the Ben Cooper kid figures will be available at Walmart's Horror collector spot this June.

I thought that a member said that Walmart was acting as a drop shipper only and the figures were actually being direct shipped from NECA.

Yes, that is my understanding as well.  But if the order coming from Walmart has given its handling extra attention from Neca, that is my experience, and hopeful continued way they will operate.

The shipping label has 'Neca Walmart' in the from address, so maybe their partnership with Walmart has upgraded their shipping care, as compared to comments here on how members have received their items from Neca before. 

The extra cost to purchase from Walmart online is acceptable by me, if this is how these items are to be handled and shipped under this partnership...I'm hoping!
