To be honest, my favorite look for an "in color" Bride is the sculpture by Mike Hill.  I love the skin looking super pale and dead.

Yeah, I think the NECA figure is a bit too "alive" looking for my taste, and I'd prefer something closer to this. Paler and more dead looking, as you say.

The sculpt is incredible though, and I'm sure I'll get the figure either way. Just a nitpick for me.

At lease the Bride figure does not have those multi colored eyes Uni style guide insisted on a few yrs ago.  Forgive me for my wanting with these great new figures coming soon, but with the Bride we must have the groom, the Karloff monster from Bride-can not wait to see something on this possible release!

He's planned. As is his dungeon chair. Gotta keep those sales up so they can go deep.

Do we know for sure they'll be a Bride version of Frankenstein?

I hadn't seen him announced, but wasn't sure if there was some inside info. I did see the Bride accessory set pictured at some convention, though I could see them making that with maybe a different head for Frankenstein, but not an entire new figure.

Has any one wondered why the Coffin in the Dracula's accessory set seems to be made of metal instead of wood. Is this just because they are just showing prototype photos. What am I missing here. Maybe its geared more toward being for the black and white figure?

I looks like wood to me.  It's based on the coffin he has in his castle in Transylvania.  I figure they just made it grayscale, because there's really no evidence supporting any particular color?

Read Anton's last post.

I did, that's where my question came from. Wasn't sure if that was speculation, if there was an announcement/leak I missed, or if it's some insider info.

Just know it wasn't included in NECA's recently released list of Universal Monster figures, so I was curious where that came from.

Toy Fair Pics and teases. Frank sits in this chair. This chair was in NECA's display next to the figures.

Then there's this: this is the mug the Monster is drinking from in the Blind Hermit's hut. it is from the 31 Nights of Frights tease with Halloween Candy.

Plus, every now again....people tell me things.  ;) ;)

I found a better shot of the lantern style they were all toting about in the 1943 version of The Phantom. Below are some shots from the film grabbed from an online video transfer (not the greatest), and stills.  It has me hopeful we will see a 1943 Rains Phantom. Hope being the operative word. Remember the lunchbox that never happened? So I don't count my chickens before they hatch anymore. If NECA does this, it would be unique to their line. I don't believe anyone has released anything figure wise as far as licensed Rains Phantom.

At any rate, I could be way out in left field and it might just be Richardson's lantern (the gravedigger from The Wolfman) for a Wolfman themed accessory set, lol.

I'd have to watch the film again, but maybe the lantern used by Karl in Bride Of Frankenstein??

That looks nothing like the one in the Phantom photos.
Don't ruin my hope; I would honestlt love a Claude Rains Phantom action figure.
