The cloth ones are the ones I've been really holding out for but these Remco style ones got me with the packaging.

The packaging caught my eye, too.

I think that's one thing I really hope they'll do that Super7 fails at. They have all these different color versions but there's never a full set of ALL the monsters (or, say, the primary ones) in that same color scheme.

I've told Super 7 this exact thing multiple times. Incredibly bizarre they don't just make a full set of normal (non-neon) GITD Universal Monsters figures in Remco packaging. They are however willing to make Remco style cards for pretty much everything else including The Worst (which I like BTW). Just seems like a HUGE missed opportunity not to make all monsters in Remco packaging like I (and many thousands of others) have dreamed about since I was 4 years old. Bride, Invisible Man, Hunchback in Remco Glow would be awesome.

Local Target refreshed its Neca shelf and scored the blk, wht Mummy.
Also, got the glow Remco Mummy-Cool

I had seen these were coming out, and loved that the figures looked better than the original versions.
Figured they would be the same size as the original ones too.  Quite surprised at the size of the vintage style card back, as it holds the repainted box sculpt Mummy fig.  Surprised at the same box version price tag too, but its X-Large Retro display was hard to pass up.  No Frankenstein, or Wolf Man yet.

My local Target has nothing.  Walmart has a couple of color Mummy boxes.  'Course they're just tossed on the bottom shelf with other NECA figures...hang tags torn off or bent.  Boxes dented.

As to the NECA cardboard hand tags being a part of the box, sure  wish they'd stop making them that way.

Also...anyone out there notice that recently shipments from BBTS via FedEx are now taking a loooong time to get from them to you?  Used to take 3-4 days tops.  Now...11 days for my last 3 shipments.  I ordered a book that was shipped from England and that only took 7 days.

What shipping method are you using - $4.00 or FedEx Ground? I just order less stuff and pay for FedEx 2-day. It's guaranteed, and if it's late by even a day BBTS will refund me the difference.

Just order them 7 days earlier.  ;D

If only you had made this suggestion last month.

The little specialty shop my buddy runs got two cases of Mummy accessory sets in 1-2 weeks back.

I've always went with their $4 shipping.  As I said it always took 3-4 days tops, and now it takes 11 days.  I have one that went out Monday with an estimated due date of Thursday (today).  They changed the due date to Friday (tomorrow) but its been sitting in North Carolina for 2 days now (I'm  in Fl) so i expect tomorrow they'll change the due date to sometimes next week.  FedEx must have switched from planes to pony express.

I found a Neca/Remco style glow in the dark Mummy at Target.

Correction, the Mummy Remco price at Target was less than the box fig. At $ 24.99, I arrived at my Target just as the stock girl was unboxing these, and other Neca figs.  She was just randomly placing items on pegs, out of the shipping boxes, to arrange later.  She had placed these on a peg showing a 32.00 price, and I took it to be the price, and self checked out, as I was in a hurry, not noting the true price til later.  Went back the next day, and all items arranged on correct price pegs, and still no Frankenstein, or Wolf Man Remco figs.

Yeah, FedEx Home Delivery is roughly $10.00 more and delivers in half that time (or less). If you can swing it... I've never used their $4.00 shipping because well, you get what you pay for.

MonsterBaker666

Well, with the price of many of the figures, that $4 shipping saves me money to put towards others figures and such.  Fixed income, and all that, ya know.

I can wait the 11 days.  I'll just have to adjust my ordering in the future if I need something for a gift.  Just odd how it used to come fast and now it's super slow.  I wonder if Fedex changed their delivery service, upping the price and offering a new slow-as-molasses cheap service for the old faster service price.

So with Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, the Mummy and the upcoming Invisible Man and Dracula, I would think The Creature might be next to be announced.  Or maybe The Bride?
