I've finally gotten back into collecting. The NECA Shape of Water and Karloff Frankenstein were my bait. I also got all those amazing Mego Hammer monsters. Sh*t just got real, friends.

I obtained Wolfman today, as my friend's collectible shop received his cases. This is the best Wolfman figure to this point in this scale. By far and away the perfect type of figure I always envisioned as a kid. It's lovely.

Still waiting on my Kesler American Werewolf figure (shipped - FedEx says delivery today but it;s listed as being in Illinois, and I'm in Florida so I doubt it's coming today).  Still hoping BBTS gets their Wolf Man & Mummy figures from NECA soon.

(sigh) Fedex AGAIN has inaccurate estimated date of delivery on my Kesler American Werewolf figure.  It was supposed to be delivered Thursday.  Then Thursday afternoon the upped it to Friday.  And here it is Friday, and it says it's to be delivered today, BUT it's just got to one of the FedEx stations about 35 miles away at noon time.  No way they'll be able to put it on a truck to get to me today. 

What's up with delivery services now days? First the good old USPS was always late, then UPS was late, now FedEx and even Amazon Prime is either late or they lose the package in transit.

Got my mummy yesterday.  Gosh he's handsome.  I still can't decide if I'm going to open these or not.  The packages are so nice.  Bring on the rest!

What's up with delivery services now days? First the good old USPS was always late, then UPS was late, now FedEx and even Amazon Prime is either late or they lose the package in transit.

FedEx is REALLY bad over the past 4 years or so. In that time I have not had one item being shipped to me that hasn't been at least a week delayed and often 3 weeks or more (on an item shipped 2 Day). I've had zero issues with USPS or UPS. Watching tracking on Fed Ex is maddening. It will bounce all over one state then ship 10 states away, then come back to my state, then sit in a location 20 miles from my house. Once it hits the location 20 miles from my house is when it gets WILD. It will either just sit there for a week or 2 OR it will leave that facility and go to the other side of the country and then finally arrive at my house (never passing through that 20 mile away facility again).

I don't know how they're still in business. Their logistics are garbage.

This is true. A friend of mine owns a toy/comic/collectibles shop in Kettering, Ohio called Game Runners. He has cases of NECA Mummy and Wolfman. He got Kessler before any of the big box places and I believe he still has those as well. He is expecting the Halloween 2 pack with Loomis and Mikey this week sometime.

Larry is definitely hitting specialty stores.  We got ours yesterday.  I'm gonna pick mine up this weekend.  He looks SO good.  I'm happy they tweaked him an darkened his wolf skin a bit.  Worth the small delay for sure.

This line is amazing so far.  May it continue for years and give us all we desire.
