I picked up the 13" plastic haunted house from Big Lots pictured earlier in this thread.  It's really great whether you repaint it or not.  Perfect for diorama scenes if you are a haunted house junkie like me.  Also it rang up at $20 even though it's tag said $25.  Also grabbed a classic styled black cat with pumpkin blowmold that they are selling alongside the pumpkin and ghost blowmold shown above.  It's a great piece as well.  I'd suggest using their website to verify which product(s) is available in the stores around you.  Because of all those around me, only a couple stocked the haunted house.

One last thing, join their loyalty club online and they immediately email you a 15% off entire purchase coupon, which saved me even more.  I keep a free gmail account to use for these things so that I can get the discount and then forget it.

After visiting Home Depot, Lowes, and Spirt, my personal fav was Home Depot this year. Dont get me wrong, they all received a decent portion of my paycheck lately, but I just liked the stuff at Home Depot best. Their animatronics were better than the rest (for what I like anyway). I was unfortunately unimpressed w/ Spirit this year. I still found a few good things there, but mostly not my style. All in all, its been a good start so far this year!

It looks a lot like the kind of House that Charles Addams drew for his eccentric family. I hope I can find one. It would be perfect in a shadowbox with the 1990's KFC figures.

Found this medium sized blow mold pumpkin man at Walmart tonight for $18.84.  It's definitely bigger than the same design that came out with the black cat and pumpkin at Walmart 4 or 5 years ago for $10.  (Like those other ones, I've only seen this in one out of 3 Walmarts so far, so they may be tricky to find.

This one takes batteries, is lit by LED, and has a timer function: 6 hrs on and 18 hrs off.   The color is more of a vintage faded orange, with a waxy feel to it.  The plastic is pretty thin, with all of them having some degree of stress marks showing from getting bumped in transit.

Biglots in Wilson NC sucks, as far as Halloween is concerned. About the only thing they were carrying, is Halloween themed Candy.

These houses are so poorly constructed they need to be condemned. Every one I have held in my hands were trash. They look good from a distance but for $25 I expected better.
