My wife brought a copy home for me from the grocery store today. I'm about halfway through it so far.
'No great revelations in the text yet but many of the pictures are new to me. 'Happy to have it, thanks gb.
Of Benchley's other ocean-going thrillers, I haven't read "The Deep" but love the 1977 movie. As to "Beast",
I've read the book several times but feel the movie could've been so much more.

Although I liked the movie, I think I'll have to pass on this mag.  Just not really interested in the movie that much to learn about it.

Right on, man. I mentioned this in another thread already, but these are nice editions. I also have the Life special issues for Frankenstein, Godzilla, and the Godfather.

Today I'm wearing a Jaws T-shirt, stopped off at the store -- and saw the magazine in a rack while I was checking out! OF COURSE I picked up a copy.
