Wow, great pics, Kidagain and Hepcat. It's good to see this thread up and running.

Great to see pics of the Tor's, Vampyre and Fu Manchu! Thanks for participating, guys. A long time member at the HMA convinced me to restart this thread here, and I'm really glad I did!

Doh!

This could also be used as a Hulk mask!

Nice review, jupiter.

Sir Masksalot

I wish we had masks that scary in our Halloween stores this month. Thanks for reviewing "Misfit", jupiter2.

Like the box said, "They were the greatest monster masks of the 1960s". I might add that DP's "Calendar" reissues were also the greatest mask edition
released in modern times. I didn't score mine until well after they were in production but what a thrill to see the GS Frankenstein included after 30+ years.

Its paint has discolored over time but still plain to see how exquisitely finished it was >

Doh!

I foolishly passed on The Wolf Man the year these came out when I found out it was only for display purposes. I was looking for a wearable mask that year and it was much too small for my fat head.

Now you know why I go by the moniker "D'oh!"

Thanks, Sir Maskalot for posting that Frank. It's on my wishlist to acquire all of the re-issues in original boxes, but alas, I don't own any right now. Maybe I never will, but I can dream!

Jeepers, I'm happy to see Post Studios made a Creeper mask and happier still that you got one for this fine review, jupiter2.
You're right about the hair though. I always thought that character had a thick white "ponytail" of hair in back >

Doh, I think DPS ultimately made the right call on their Wolfman reissue >

If they'd cast them too thin, they wouldn't last nearly as long. Mine is so thick, I could probably face a sandstorm with it!

Doh!

Believe me, Sir Maskalot, I wish I had picked one up at the time! Great collectible.

Jupiter, thanks for keeping the reviews coming. I've never seen Jeepers Creepers but your reviews are always interesting.

Sir Masksalot

My Phantom mask, one of the few DP reissues I never even tried to wear. It would've been painful, to say the least!
