I revisited Cecil B. DeMille's SIGN OF THE CROSS over the weekend.  (The restored, pre-Code cut with all the questionable content restored...and a commentary by David Del Valle.  DeMille and Del Valle...now there's a duo you probably didn't see coming!)

BANANAS (1971) - I remember laughing a ton back in the '70s at this one, but I don't think it holds up now.  Outside of a couple scenes and one liners, I barely laughed at all.  I rewatched LOVE AND DEATH (1975) a few years back and still found that extremely funny.  Maybe hearing too much about Allen's personal life (who knows what's true anymore?) hasn't helped either.
