Just as I suspected...only Creature Walks was put up for sale.  Why the heck are they doing it like this?

I asked somebody "in the know" on this, but they haven't got back to me yet. I went to their FB page, and I have discovered this has been happening with other figures. Released one at a time, then sell out and that's that. I am guessing it has to do with the niche source material, corona virus, and not wanting to go broke if they don't sell right now due to the state of the world. So--against my better judgment, and because I want to support the line, I went ahead and ordered the figure as offered...onesie twosie style. If the whole wave is offered this way, I won't really like that due to paying $6 shipping every figure.  However, if it proves the ONLY way to get them manufactured...then needs must. :-\

Oh Chick

I'm getting trolled by a guy who doesn't like the way I asked about the other 5 figures. Super 7 has done stuff like this before and has zero transparency and accountability so I want to know.

I know what you're talking about. Fun when someone jumps on you out of nowhere like a rabid racoon and then later comes back at you with the "you need to chill" cool guy air of aloofness. No, no, no, no ... I'm not crazy, you're the one who's crazy

First off, I'm happy to see we are getting another Uni Monster figure and one that has never been produced in the 3 3/4" scale in the past.  I applaud any company that puts out the things I like and collect.  I ordered the figure.  That being said, Super 7 has done some things in the past with their "exclusives" and variants that I consider shady and in poor taste all for the sake of making a buck, and I suppose I might feel the same if they release this next wave of Uni Monsters on a one-by-one basis.  Ultimately though, Super 7 has the right to do whatever they deem works for them as a company, even if it means gouging the customer for a little extra in shipping charges.  As consumers, we have just as much right to not buy anything from them if we don't like their business practices.  The bottom line for me is that as long as they have the Universal monsters license, I will continue to support them, because I love the source material so much.

I agree with you. I'm still buying regardless. It would just be nice to know if we are just getting creature since it's clearly Brian Flynn's favorite, if the others are scrapped, coming 5 at once, one a week for a month plus... just wanted a basic answer from them.

I heard from Flynn on Instagram on Oct. 15th. He said " It's going to come out in bits and pieces for some reason but they are all coming."

That may have changed, I don't know.

Any idea who has the best price on these when it comes to shipping and handling?

I've heard (and not from Super 7) that Universal limits how many licensed items can be released in a certain timeframe (from all vendors combined). Because there have been quite a few new releases Super 7 is having to space them. That's what I was told anyway by someone who should know...

I guess things like this you can blame on whatever weird internal hiccups are going on, whether its with licensing, contracts, manufacturing or covid.  I'm sure if it were a different situation Super 7 would release them all like how they usually did.

Still...I'm buying all of em.

I think the shipping for me is around $25 plus probably another $12-$15 for import duty so maybe $6 to ship each one individually could be worse. I do agree that it's a real shame they can't release the whole wave at once (it seems strange to me that they've just been sent this one figure and not all of them at the same time, can't quite work that one out?!), but like you mentioned, who knows what's going on behind the scenes right now with the state of the world.

I can see why it stings but if it's something you really don't want to miss out on then it's worth picking up now. This figure doesn't quite do it for me (fortunately), but I've missed out on quite a few releases recently due them being too expensive to be sent to me. There's one place online that has some Super7 figures so I've just got to hope that they get some in some point.

Yeah, I'd like to have a complete collection, but if I miss out on WAU, I'm okay.  Like, the LBH was the best figure for this version of the character imo.  Now Ygor...  Can't miss him!
