If it's of any interest to anyone, I noticed in one of the videos of the Super 7 booth at Toy Fair that they had Reaction cardbacks (no figures) of "An American Werewolf in London". Starting at 16:28 in this video:

Well, I like wave 3 more than wave 2 I think. Quasimodo looks the best in this wave, followed very closely by Creech. In fact, I'm liking Quasi so much I'd be happy to see King of Fools and shirtless whipped versions in future waves. Still sad we likely won't see a Colin Clive figure due to estate rights issues.

Munsters look........kinda crap. Their likenesses are VERY cartoony, almost as if there was a licensing issue more than an artistic style choice. Maybe I'll change my mind when I see them painted, and I'm very likely going to buy them regardless. Also of note, looking at their Aliens figures it looks like those were shortened to waves of three, so presumably this might be the case with Munsters? I can think of 6 more off the top of my head (Eddie, Marilyn, Zombo, Uncle Gil, Racing Herman, Racing Grampa), and it would be a shame to not complete the core family at least.

... if we were to get a Series 4...  I'd want a Henry Frankenstein, an Alucard, a Countess Zaleska, a Maleva, a Van Helsing, a Renfield, and a Bela the Gypsy.  Oh, yes, along with a Frankenstein's lab playset and a Dracula's castle playset.

Absolutely agreed. I think I could do without Alucard and the Countess if I had to. Some supporting characters would be great. I think Renfield deserves a figure just as much as Ygor.

And as fond as Super7 is of re-paints, I would be happy with them if it meant getting a coffin for Drac, a tomb for the Mummy and an operating table for the Monster. Heck, make a little cardboard diorama background, include a "hero", a monster, an accessory and you'd be good to go. Drac could get Van Helsing, the Monster could have Dr. Frankenstein and so forth.

I also wish we could get Karloff as Mr. Hyde. While it's not as perfect as a Frederick March version I was hoping it would be the closest to a Hyde in this scale we'd get.

Also, I'm glad we're getting a werewolf of London but I wish it was the cloak costume and not the robe version. Ah well.

Anybody know what colors the outfits for Quasimodo and Walking Creature would have been in real life?

I'm thinking they probably weren't bright canary yellow.

Do companies have to adhere to the color models that Universal gives them? The green jacket for Frank, the red cape for Drac, the red lips for Creech etc.?  Kind of tired of seeing the same colors.

"If it's of interest" is a MASSIVE understatement! I could probably spitball at least 20 AWIL figures I'd buy. It's funny, I was literally watching this video when I came back to read the forum and was about 2minutes behind the mark, so your post made me stop what I was doing to pay attention, so thank you.

I was deeply disappointed by the interviewer though, barely any questions asked whatsoever while he was literally having a Super7 employee namedrop the products. How hard is it to even ask if there will be more characters? (Robocop, Munsters, etc). Same with the PixelDan channel, who spent too much time bantering with Randy from Neca but couldn't even ask about the lack of Richard Dreyfuss for the Jaws 8" or Christopher Lloyd likeness for their BTTF.

And speaking again of ReActions, I'm glad they are bringing back Nightmare Before Christmas, those were some of the better sculpts during the Funko era (and these are all new sculpts), but that also means they have a relationship with Disney, so here's to hoping for more classic Planet of the Apes. (I'm assuming the Aliens stuff was finalized before the Fox buyout). I REALLY want Astronaut versions of all 4 humans from the first film (even Stewart with interchangeable skeleton head), Julius the cigar smoking jailer, background child chimps from the first film to flesh out my diorama, etc. Then later on to Conquest and all the inmate versions of the apes.

Still not thrilled about their $18 pricepoint or sales gimmicks, but always willing to scoop up dream releases like AWIL and Uni Monsters, Munsters, etc. I already imagine the Wave 3 Uni's will get a SDCC variant set which I'll likely be skipping, but I do plan on getting a set of wave 3 to open.

There are no color pics of the Creature, but I think the Sideshow 12" probably got it right.

Well, that's kinda how I always imagined the Creature:

With Quasimodo being about the same - undyed material.  (Or maybe a very light grey, blue or green.)

Someone must have made note of the costume color - even though it was being photographed in B&W.

The Sideshow version is by far the best "Walk Among  Us" Creech action figure I've seen/owned. They used the same color on the Little Big Head version, as well.

Is there an "Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About" book on the '23 Hunchback movie? Anybody got a FILMFAX index?

Love that figure. I only own three 12 inch Sideshow figures---Frankenstein, White Zombie, and Walk Among Us Creech. I spent a pretty penny, but it was worth it. I actually like that film a lot. That was first Creature film I ever saw as a kid, so has sentimental value.

I like it, too. The Creature movies were a huge part of my childhood. I would cancel any plans with friends when they were on Saturday afternoon monsterfests on TV. I would stay up all night (even school nights) when they played on late night. I would be in my first period math class very bleary-eyed, but we'll worth it.

Seeing that Sideshow Creature Walks Among Us figure brings back a lot of good memories!  Going out "in the wild" trying to track down these amazing 12-inch figures back in the day was so much fun!  Still the greatest 1/6 scale monster figures ever created for the mass market.

You are so right, Joseph. The first time I ever saw a Sideshow figure was at Target right after New Year's (1999). I saw the first wave of the 8"ers and thought I was dreaming. I bought doubles of all three. Then, the 12"ers hit, and I was hooked. I loved those "into the wild" toy hunts (before the internet ruined the thrill). Good times!

You mean, before the internet made you aware of things you never knew existed!  ;D
