I guess, not familiar with that thread.

Looks like I can't move just one post.

Anyway, here's where people post their latest acquisitions.

aura of foreboding

The coloring book is now available:  https://super7.com/collections/nycc-2019/products/universal-monsters-coloring-book

I ordered mine.  This is something I definitely wanted last summer.

They betrayed us....

Super7 posted up what was left of their NYCC exclusives online...NO glow monsters...

As I've complained about many many times now, they intentionally delay releases to keep people returning back to their website. Same reason they keep telling people to check their social media. They want tot keep you "engaged" hoping that they can convert more sales. They know the UM are their biggest draw which is why they are saving them for last. Same reason they put the variants first and regular later, which is the opposite of their other properties the majority of the time. They are all about the hype and making you getw hipped into a buyitnow frenzy. They stagger their exclusives week by week to get more web traffic.

Its amazing they also decided to jack up the prices on their older unsold stock to $18. Tarriffs had nothing to do with that. These guys are hucksters. They are just as bad as Funko now with their business practices, and at $18 I think I'm done aside from UM and if they ever get to POTA wave 3

Yep, this part is flat out shameful. I was going to order the Rocky, Yankees baseball and Pee Wee figures and I'm not going to with the increase. I am also down to just ordering the monster stuff from them (if I can't find it cheaper elsewhere (Hot Topic of all places).

I don't like all of the product, but, so what?  They are in the business of making varied toys for varied public tastes.

But, who are they trying to please with their crazy marketing practices?  Is anyone thrilled by how they string along their customer base?

I don't care for it.

The Universal Monsters are not their main lure or biggest seller....despite us wanting it to be so.  I would say TMNT or MOTU are better sellers. Bigger market because more people are alive and have disposable income that grew up on those type of shows.

I hope Reaction has a Werewolf of London. He never gets any love. Except when Sideshow had the license.

MAN...I don't wanna start something but I sure am tired of Frankenstein's green jacket...
Start something? That ship has sailed (and sunk) long ago. I dare one UMAer to defend that damned green jacket.

Anybody seen the new Frankenstein toys with the green jackets? Umm, umm! Man, those are snazzy!

He was only limping!

Besides, I thought this tread was about praising/condemning Season7.  The green coat is dictated by Universal style guides.  (Not sure why some manufactures are allowed to use all black clothes, while others are not?)
