Anybody going to SDCC or have a way to get questions to Brian Flynn?

I'm curious if they're considering more Recation figures for next year. Series 3 would be easy:

Henry Hull's "Werewolf of London"
"Son of Frankenstein" Monster
Ygor
Quasimodo from 1932's "Hunchback"
Gill-Man from "Creature Walks Among Us"
Ardeth Bey

Series 3 is all but officially announced, as the artist is already working on a new series of portraits.  There was also an article that ran sometime back talking about Series 3.  No characters were mentioned, but I'd be down for an Ygor from your list.  A few of us have already offered suggestions for other characters here on earlier pages.

I think this is the article your referring to.

There is a chance (albeit small) they have prototype sculpts at their Comic Con booth.

In related (somewhat old) news here are some of the new Super 7 monster shirts:

Who are the two in the very back?

Add the Worst Hell on Wheels  werewolf and you're about all set in the 3.75" Werewolf department.

Now that this thread is open again...the one in the back is a model, resin cast with metal arms available from Gonativetoys. The big one in front is a custom Marvel Comics Werewolf by Night that I made from a Marvel Universe Gray Beast figure.

That's terrific!! Thanks for the news!

Along with the ones I mentioned, I'd love to see:

Talbot Wolfman in khaki pants/blue? shirt
First disguise-version of the Invisible Man ("Here's a souvenir for you!")

And even a few humans, like Van Helsing, Renfield and Henry Frankenstein.

Edit: Have I takes about this before? I'm getting deja vu...

Doesn't sound familiar.

It also makes me wish they'd make a sarcophagus for Imhotep.

I've looked and looked for a suitable replacement but nothing is quite right.

Not necessarily screen accurate but...

The sarcophagus from the Mcfarlane mummy play set works pretty well

And I'm pretty sure this one fits a 3.75" action figure as well:

I'd wondered about the McFarlane one but wasn't positive. The only one of those sets I had was the Werewolf one and that seems so long ago.

The second link might give me more hope but the listed height is 5.5 inches. That's the size of a vintage Masters of the Universe figure, so the inside won't be much shorter than that. A little too roomy, I think. If it was just a smidge smaller!

There is papercraft sarcophagus you can search on google. Download into paint and you can adjust the scale, then just reinforce the structure with some cardboard.

This one is listed as 4" tall-- might work.

It doesn't! I bought it, and while it is quite cool looking it doesn't fit a 3.75" figure. I should actually leave a review on Amazon pointing that out.

The Burger King one might work, as well, for this size figure. Below is my customized version. BTW, when I was at San Diego last week, I suggested to the Super 7 store manager to add a sarcophagus accessory (and playset) for the Mummy figure (not to mention a new & improved Monsterizer, with lights and sound!).

I may have to go that route, thank you!

That's what I thought! I actually have a friend who owns this one and she says it's not wide enough, though. 😬
