A little bit closer look at some Series 2 figures:

Wonder how some of these would look with full palette paint jobs...  Hmmm...

The Keshi figures are OK.  I've always liked the little Japanese Keshi Gomu Frankenstein figures I would occasionally find on eBay.

But what I REALLY want to know, is....

WHEN ARE WE EVER GOING TO SEE THESE?

I want all of them. They will be nice companions to my other Universal Soakies.

If you have ever attempted to license anything through both Universal and Lugosi Enterprises ... I'll just say the two parties visions don't always align well.

I don't recall any other joint ventures besides Sideshow Toys 8", 12" and the Little Big Heads.  The party stuff from the late 90's I assume was a joint venture as well.  I thought that ever since those glory days (late 90's/early 2000's) of actual Bela Drac products all merchandise was either Universal or Lugosi Enterprises, with Universal going the generic Drac route.

I'm really curious to see side by side comparisons.

The new ones are the same size as the 1960s ones.

I'm anxious to see what paint schemes they settle on for the "Soapies" as opposed to the original Soakies.

I hope the newbies are every bit as big as the originals.

They were on display at Toy Fair. See the pictures at the bottom of this article:

I only count 7 UM "Soapies". UM toy sets are usually even numbers, but not always. Looks like Dracula is missing, again!

Last I heard they were attempting to license the Kim Ito Dracula that so many people erroneously (or lyingly) refer to as a Colgate prototype.
