So is there any actual possibility of play sets or are we all just getting too excited?

They DO need to make play sets, though.

Wolfman

If they do make both, be careful not to bring Franky's lab into the tub with the Rita. Otherwise risk getting electrocuted.

Super7 has given no indication of playsets for any of their ReAction line.

The only 2 playlets Super7 have released to date are the haunted house one - http://www.i-mockery.com/minimocks/super7-reaction-figures-haunted-house-playset/

and the Alien one (both in black and blue box) - http://www.kennercollector.com/2014/07/super7-2014-sdcc-exclusive-alien-egg-chamber-reaction-playset/

I love this custom Alien set based on the Kenner Cantina one - http://forum.rebelscum.com/showthread.php?t=1105598&page=197

I'm thinking they may well make some sort of playlet again in the future but it's hard to know which toylike they would go with, maybe He-Man as they have a third wave of the 3.75 figures coming out soon but we can always hope for another monster themed one.

If you did multiple of each figure like they have so far (regular, b&w, and glow), you could include modular castle pieces with Dracula, Frankenstein, Phantom of the Opera, Bride of Frankenstein, Bride of Dracula, Invisible Man, Dr. Jekyl, Mr. Hyde, Igor. That would be 27 modular pieces right there, and a possible option to order more direct from the manufacturer.

I just came across this article that includes an interview with Brian from Super 7. It gives more details into the timing when some of the Monster stuff from Toy Fair will be released. The buckets sound like 2019 ("next year").

Also noteworthy is this quote:
"Those first four ReAction figures we'll be out by Halloween [referring to the Mummy, Mutant, Creature and Wolfman]. Then we have another four coming out." ... "The first four figures should be out by San Diego [Comic Con]." ... "Wave 2 should be out around Halloween. There are four different monsters that will be out for Halloween. By the end of the year we'll have eight total."

I think what he's saying is the first four will be out before Halloween and the next FOUR out at or just after Halloween. Note that he said 8 figures in wave 1 and 2. At Toy Fair they only had packaging displayed for 7 monsters. If I were a betting man I would guess the 8th monster will be Dracula but they haven't quite finished the license with Lugosi so they couldn't display packaging. That's my guess anyway.

Very positive comments in regards to Super 7's interest in producing UM products moving forward.

This is great news and Brian seems very keen on pushing the vintage monster angle so it's looking very promising. Typical that I'll be leaving the US next month to go back home to the UK but at least I have a friend who works there who's happy to help me out with items I'm after. I'm not sure how well Super7 is stocked in the UK but I'm going to need someone to feed me with these great products after supporting them since day one (also great the DD has worldwide shipping although I'm probably going to get hit by customs charges for each one I buy).

Geeze! I'll be in a home by then!

Renting or buying? Getting out of an apartment...or trailer? Oh wait...you meant...(The) HOME didn't you?

Seriously great news!  I too hope the missing monster is Dracula, but -- with out luck -- it will be another Bride or an Invisible Man.  I like both, but the Invisible Man we have is perfect and the Bride is just a little difficult for people to get right...  haha

LordMudd

Depends on which Bride you are talking about. A Bride of Dracula would be awesome right now. I think it is more likely we would get an Igor or Hunchback  figure than a Bride of Dracula though.

No one has ever made a Bride of Dracula.  That'd be cool.  I'd rather have his daughter, Zaleska.  The only bride I think we'll ever see, though, is the one we always get... The Bride of Frankenstein.  She's usually the one we reference when we say "Bride" here.  :)
