Super 7 sent out an email saying that they're going to start charging an 8% surcharge due to the tariffs, and they stated that the 8% doesn't cover the tariffs.... 

I'm looking to see announced product be delayed or even cancelled by some manufacturers who can't tie up their money for that long - or have their licenses with Universal expire in the meantime.

While there are plenty of free ports in the world, they won't resolve the issue for the States. Set aside that the US doesn't have a customs force in place to police the current tariffs, in legal theory the new tax is based on the country of origin. If a US customer were getting an item from a extranational company that ships products from a free port, that individual US customer would be responsible for payment of the duty on the item in order to take delivery of their order.

Now you know the logic behind his placing tariffs on obscure regions like Madagascar. In an attempt to prevent these companies "getting by" or....something. I am not sure why the opposite side isn't dancing nekkid in the streets. "Pay their fair share" seems to be their mantra. It's all headed towards the ending of The Planet of the Apes,lol.

Shhhhhhh...dont give 'em any ideas.  145% tariff on items coming from China - so China could ship these items to a country with lower tariffs and then people get them from there.  IF that were to happen, expect 145% tariffs on ALL countries.
