It's a different sculpt. That one was the Super 7/Funko collab era. I actually liked that sculpt much better than the new version.

And...it's the beginning of the end:

To Our Valued Super7 Supporters,
Last week was really hard.
As you may have heard, we had to make the difficult decision to let team members go. These are people who were doing the best work in the industry, none of whom deserved to be let go. I want to be clear that this reduction in staff is a direct result of the tariffs applied to our industry. The preceding six months before the tariff announcement had been Super7's best since the inception of the company nearly 24 years ago. Then the landscape changed overnight.
Make no mistake, the tariff is a tax on American companies and the American consumer. The people who lost their jobs last week were Americans across 16 different states. The 145% tariff effectively shut our business down, bringing new inventory leaving the factory to zero, compounded by massive tariffs on pre-order product already on the water headed to consumers. This week's change in tariff to 30%, is still a massive increase to this industry that requires significant change to work within.
So what does that mean for Super7? Well, it means we need to be smaller and focus on the core of our business while being very specific about what we make. This allows Super7 to be safe for the future and continue to deliver the awesome product we are known for.
We still believe in the joy that making toys brings to all of us. We believe that the future will be better, and we look forward to continuing to deliver on that joy for the future. We hope to see you there with us.

Brian Flynn has a bad case of TDS.   Like everything else  does,  lefties blow it out of proportion and overreact.    Everything will be fine.    Like a fat person that needs to lose weight to get healthy.....it requires a bit of inconvenience but worth it in the end.
Morning, noon, or night, Anytime . . . . the count may strike. If you're caught you have to linger, Cause Dracula may bite your finger!

I don't know about that.  If they pay $20 for an item, and the tariff is 145%, they then pay a total of $49 for that item ($20 for the item and $29 for the tariff).  They then have to charge over $49 for that item to make a profit.  Or are they suppose to take a loss on every item they bring in from a foreign country?

It's the same sculpt as the carded Super 7 figure.

he posted a democracy "dying" meme on Nov 6th and lives in SF.   He has tds.     The tariffs have been paused and will continue to follow the same pattern.   China is getting cooked too so the negotiating tactics are working.       People need to stop overacting and let it work itself out.

It is the same sculpt as the carded figure but a different sculpt than the last time they made a B&W figure back in 2015.

I have really liked Super 7 products over the years, but Bryan Flynn has inserted politics into his business MANY times over the years. And that's fine, it's his business. But here are the facts:
•Super 7 has been INCREDIBLY bloated on staff for a long time. This has resulted in selling a figure for $20 or $25 that much smaller companies are selling a better looking figure of for $15.
•Super 7 shifted significant production out of China a couple of years ago.
•I personally am as opposed to tariffs as can possibly be imagined. They are harmful to individual Americans short term and long term. And the short term manner in which they are being used in a punitive manner is simple minded idiocy and grandstanding. That being said, the 8% surcharge for tariffs that Super 7 instituted was a dishonest money grab from the customers which resulted in a massive reduction in sales. NOTHING Super 7 has sold since they put that "surcharge" in place was actually subject to the tariff. It was all already sitting in the US, most of it since well before the last election...
•The tariff was 145% for a short while, it's 30% now. Him blaming the tariffs as the primary reasons for those layoffs is disingenuous and sleight of hand. If blaming it all on the boogie man makes the pill go down easier for the people he fired, fine. But their business practices and mismanagement is what led to this.
-I have spent, many, many thousands of dollars with Super 7, and completely unrelated to any politics, they disgust me. I have held back $875 in purchases and counting since they self-righteously announced their 8% surcharge and I will continue to withhold every penny until they get their crap together, drop the surcharge and start acting like a real company that wants to make money and not piss off a large portion of prospective customers.

You know, I have heard several companies (Super7, Hasbro, McFarlane) griping about tariffs. You know who hasn't said a peep about tariffs to the best of my knowledge? NECA. Why haven't they chimed in yet?

All of this caca is overpriced already. Has been for years. People will just buy what they want, and skip what they don't, if things are marked up too richly for their blood. Same as always.  To some folks, this isn't a hobby, it's life to them.  It's why some folks are willing to pay inflated prices for things on ebay, or stay in a perpetual cycle of debt for useless crap. So the tariffs won't affect that demographic much.

Just curious why NECA hasn't said a peep, as they too are small. Maybe they have and I missed it. Or maybe they know it's something they will survive without too much "Chicken Little" drama.

I thought these Blind Box Silver Screen figures were retailing for $14.95.

Anywho, I got my Frank from eBay for $19.99 including shipping.  (No unopened box for me.)
