We just got back from universal studio in Orlando, they had 2 houses open, the Bride and Tooth fariry. Both houses are excellent.

SPOILER!!!

The Bride Picks up after the movie, and basically SHE becomes the doctor and is trying to get her mate back!
And with the help of the blood from Dracula’s brides! Leaving the Haunt house, me and the wife totally agreed for once, there is the movie they should make! Get DelToro to direct it and BAM!

So what is this exactly? A haunted house attraction? A play?

Honestly, I am thankful.  We don't need more modern day monsters.  If you set each film in its original period or in the year the film was released, it would be amazing.  Imagine this timeline for a cinematic universe:

Frankenstein: 1897
Dracula: 1897
Bride of Frankenstein: 1897
Dracula Resurrection Film: 1931
The Mummy: 1932
The Invisible Man: 1933
Son of Frankenstein: 1939
The Wolf Man: 1941
Creature from the Black Lagoon: 1942
Phantom of the Opera: 1943
1st Monster Mash-Up: 1943

Why 1942?

So he can be in the first monster mash-up movie.

Wasn't Kusama's film going to be set in the same time period as the original novel though?

Think Chloe Zhao's film was going to be the "modern" adaption (Sci-Fi/Western Vampire IIRC).
