Black Cat oozes the evil. It's in my top 5 Universal monster flicks. That top 5 shifts occasionally but Creature From The Black Lagoon is always at #1 and Bride Of Frankenstein is always in there somewhere along with The Black Cat. Creature is my favorite movie, period. I always have trouble with those top 5 and top 10 lists because they tend to change a little periodically.
All three are in my top 5 (surprise, surprise). The Wolfman might sneak in there, too.

Mord

"Pillow of Death" - Cool Chaney Jr. "Inner Sanctum" mystery

The Raven (1935)

As I await the ordering of my DD Edmond Bateman figure.
ALWAYS MONSTERING...

Mord

I'm watching that next. Though I'm not sure that "The Raven" is coming next from DD (it might be Fu Manchu).

I wasn't sure of the order of availability but I'm in on all the Karloffs.  :)

Me too, of course.

Last night:

Claude Rains Triple Feature:

The Invisible Man 1933.

Then two non Horror films:

Casablanca 1943
Mr. Skeffington 1944

Mord

"The Wolfman" (2010) - Trying to like this but the extreme CGI always takes me out of the movie. Still, better than most updates & "re-imaginings".

Caught him on TCM the other night in a fairly entertaining flick called Angel on my Shoulder where he played a very sly and classy Devil.  >:D
Recent Horrors (out of 5 *'s):

The Witch - **1/2
Alien - *****
The Invisible Man - *****

Murders in the Rue Morgue. I would have preferred Chas. Gamora's gorilla suit over the chimpanzee close ups.

Hi, Anthony, which version do you have? I've never been able to find a clean print of that.

Mord, so far I have had several PD versions of Hunchback as well; the best one available at this time is the Ultimate Edition from Image a few years back..there really hasnt been anything beyond that since then.
DARK SHADOWS:

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

Yeah, that's the one I have. It's supposed to be the best, but it still looks VERY scratched up to me.
