Frankenstein and Dracula, both 1931, at the Fox Theatre in Pomona California (also 1931) yesterday.
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

I hurt my back and while laying on the couch in a Dr prescribed Vicodin haze I watched A&C Meet Frankenstein around 5 times in a row.

I finally saw Tarantula this weekend. I know, long overdue, but I had gotten the idea that it was a crap film, so I had avoided it. I was surprised at how good it actually was. It's no Them, but it has several nice moments, and we get some cool human monsters, besides the gigantic arachnid.  This might be the finest acting job ever by the tree-like John Agar.

Recently I was sick and while lying on the couch I watched Dracula and Frankenstein.  Monsters are the best medicine.
Just remember. There are such things.
