Last night I watched a triple feature of "Murders in theRue Morgue", "The Black Cat", and "The Raven" , in other words ..."The Bela Lugosi Franchise Collection" (side one).

Well I just watched last week end the Man Made Monster, Oh but that's Universal International though, I think International had owned Universal for a while. Anyway I also watched The Invisible  Man(Claude Rains) just two nights ago and each year for Halloween I watch a whole bunch of them along with the new stuff, takes me a few days I start watching from 10am in the morning and stop about 2am sleep get up suck on some coffee and start my morning all over again with more movies over a 3 day period until then end of Halloween.

Yes, I have.  It is a very interesting film.  I like how they incorporated elements of "Faust" directly into the storyline; however, it was a bit gory for my tastes.  For me, the strengths of the film are that it is a visually stunning and has a hauntingly beautiful score.

Agreed. I'm not a fan of gore, myself.
