Is it possible it's a repro? I bought a Dracula repro binder a few years back from a fellow named Samjo.

Its not a repro, I have the real thing and buddy, this is it.   from the seal going around the edge, to the dents in the cardboard on the inside and the bow of the front panel.

real and real sad for the rest of those who missed this BIN.

I wonder if the seller knew what he had?

I have the original also. Just couldn't tell from this pic. I do see the warping, but someone scored a major coup on this then. Wow!

If he put it up with a BIN of $22.00, he did not!

Out of interest, what should an original go for?

Ian.     was it you?

I think I paid 350.00 back in the day, but today, right now, I bet that would of shot up towards the upper who knows?
I know a couple of people who would love to have this.    might be worth it to sell it here instead of ebay fees.

I bet your repro has an open sleeve at the top and drac is easily removed.   Plus I think Samjo lists his repro's as repro's

Wow! I didn't think it would be quite that much and it wasn't me.

I feel a little sorry for the seller although you really need to do just a little research when selling things and I won't feel quite as bad for them if it ended up in a collectors hands rather than someone who's just going to flip it.

someone really did get lucky and it looks to be a great condition.

So long as a collector rather than a flipper got it, I'm happy. In general I'm glad to see collectors get good deals as opposed to seeing people with no appreciation of or interest in an item reaping a windfall.

:)
Collecting! It's what I do!
