Hands down, the best Mego style release by DD this year!  Really digging the new packaging as well!  The only negative is that I wish the H3 figures had been offered last month so I could display them for Halloween this year!  Top marks, Martin & crew!

I'm especially pleased at the new packaging too!

I hope this continues

I was strongly suggesting switching to boxes a few years back-- they are so much better :)

I liked the clamshells in the beginning. but after seeing his H# boxes...I am now in love with boxes.

Just received my Halloween bundle and I must say that I'm floored by both how fast they arrived and also the shear craftmanship!

These are an absolute work of art and DD just went to a new level. I love the new packaging for them as well as there's no need to remove them from their boxes as they display really well as they are and also don't take up much space.

One thing I thought worth mentioning is that if team DD use these boxes ever again it's probably worth putting a sheet of bubble wrap inside the box in between the window and figure. Mine arrived pretty much perfect except for a tiny nose rub (no problem at all though) on the witch child but some bubble wrap would protect this from happening I think. I'm sure it would be easy to do and hopefully everyone's will arrive with no problems (they are tied in well so there shouldn't be).

Well, I can't wait to get home and display these but they're such an amazing addition to my collection so thank you all involved once again, it's made my week  ;D

Wait. You order this on Monday, and it's already here?  Martin must have been waiting outside your door when you placed your order.

That was fast. Also, the figures were not wrapped? M always wraps the figures. This is not good at all. If the figures were not wrapped, they will be greatly damaged. Especially with the luck I have and Anton as well.

Martin knows how terrible my mailman is. He is sending me a new My bloody Valentine bubble due to their mangling from last month's shipment. They are terrible. Here's hoping mine arrives safely.

Palifan - really surprised to hear about the nose rub. Those boxes have special inserts which are a perfect fit inside the box. Wrapping the figures wasn't really an option and if I'd have put a piece of bubble in, I would have got complaints about the tape holding the lid shut. ah well, back to the drawing board

My mailman is a Nightmare from Cthulhu's deepest dankest darkest pit, yet 95% of the time DD thwarts his tendency to destroy worlds. I have faith. Shy of mailing something in a solid block of adamantium, there's no way to avoid some shipping damage. Fingers crossed.

It really isn't a big nose rub but I can see some markings on the inside of the clear plastic where the nose touched. I think even though they're tied into the backing there's still a little movement which is how this happened. I don't remember my triple pack being taped which is why I mentioned the bubble wrap but I must have missed it so can understand the problem of wrapping them, I'm sure there would be lots of people wanted to not damage the box to get at them.

I feel there's no need to go back to the drawing board though, you've created a masterpiece that really will be cherished and prized by collectors for years to come. Such amazing work!  ;D ;D

I think the Halloween 3 boxed set is the finest presentation done so far. by DD for characters from a film. I say presentation, because that's what they are. I can be swayed to add something to my collection, even if I am not the biggest fan of the film, if the "wow" factor is there. This set has that....in spades. I would love to see a re-visit to the original Halloween done up in such a way. Boxed, and not bubbled. Maybe a re-sculpted Myers head to more closely resemble the look from the first flick, but the Loomis was already a masterpiece. So many folks missed out on the original DD Halloween release the first time around, and still others would love a revised headsculpt and the new packaging. I would scoop it up, and Halloween is hot (not that it ever cooled) right now with the new film forthcoming. Hint Hint, Martin. ;) ;) ;D ;D

A Michael Myers from part 4 with a young Jamie Loyd in the clown costume 2 pack, would also be cool. Not many Myers 4 or Jamie figures out there

I hinted about doing 1/6 scale (before getting parts turned into such a cost ineffective fiasco) for Halloween. Now that parts prices has become a major issue: I am holding out hope for Kharis....but not much else.

This idea of boxed 3-packs has me extremely excited!  I can see it now...DD's Megostyle 3-pack of Lugosi Dracula, Fritz and Van Helsing OR Plan 9 Tor, Vampira and old Bela Vampire OR Laughton Dr. Moreau, Lota and Sayer of the Law.  The possibilities are endless!  I hope H3 3-pack was not just a one off!

I agree. Michael, Loomis and throw in Laurie. There you go. The perfect 3pak to follow the phenomenal H3 set.
