30th Anniversary Screening! Hosted by Joe Bob Briggs!

12 years after Tobe Hooper's THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE terrified audiences and ushered in a new era of horror, Hooper got the clan back together for a sequel and nothing would be the same. Combining a dark sense of humor, buckets of gore and an undercurrent of sharp political satire, THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2 would take a chainsaw (or two) to Reagan's America and would spearhead a slew of sequels and remakes to Hooper's original film. 30 years later and it is as sharp and funny as ever, one of the rare sequels that deserves to be in the same company as its predecessor. And definitely the only sequel to any movie that features a dual chainsaw wielding, manic Dennis Hopper and a chili cook-off where the meat definitely didn't come from cattle! (Justin LaLiberty)

Screening in 35mm.

Midnight movie icon Joe Bob Briggs in person to introduce the film!

After an awe-inspiring comet passes across the whole earth, all life is cindered into dust except for teenage sisters Reggie and Samantha. Realizing they are the only ones alive they take to the mall where they can have their hearts desire for free! But their plans are soon thwarted by other survivors - zombified creatures and conniving scientists. Armed with machine-guns, our heroines fight for their right to shop. It's all the fun of the best '80s teen comedies paired with the best gore and violence of zombie movies.
