Toddy is an acquired taste.  Do you like Snidely Whiplash types?

I like Snidely Whiplash!  ;D

Would you say this was a typical Todd S. movie? I know he did the "Demon Barber" story.

His acting is pretty much the same.

I quote from a post about Shout's Universal Horror Collections on the Classic Horror Film Board site:

"Confirmed on Facebook this is the last collection.

From Dawn of the Discs:

Scream Factory has announced that their upcoming Universal Horror Collection: Volume 6 will be the last set in that particular line.  No further explanation was given.
The final volume of Universal Horror Collection drops on 8/25"

While I assumed that this would be it, I hate to see it confirmed.

I recently got the Bob Hope 10 film DVD set, with these movies, at Big Lot's a few months back for $5. Ironically, I don't really like Bob Hope that much, but I love Paulette Goddard! Pity they have to come as a pair.
When times are dark, don't consider art to be merely a distraction; rather, think of it as a lifeline-  Neil Gaiman paraphrase.

Bob Hope isn't my idea of someone funny.  He reads all his lines with the same, humorless smartass tone.  And he has a cruel, unfriendly smile.  Always left me cold.

I like to get my humor from someone I immediately like and feel sympathy for.  Someone I find myself rooting for - John Candy comes to mind.
