ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!!!!!!!!
When times are dark, don't consider art to be merely a distraction; rather, think of it as a lifeline-  Neil Gaiman paraphrase.

Do we know if these are upgrades over the DVD releases?

I need both of these in my life on bluray. Mark of the Vampire will be the closet thing to a remake of London After Midnight any Cinephile will ever own. Unless a miracle happens and London surfaces from the Cinematic Heavens.

The Jekyll & Hyde one is certainly an upgrade, that's why it took so long for a BD release: it had much restoration work done on it over the last year or so.

It was an actual remake of "London After Midnight". Same story, but in "Mark of the Vampire", Bela Lugosi played an actor hired to play a vampire, while in London After Midnight Lon Chaney played both the detective, and was also disguised as the vampire. Both were directed by Tod Browning. Also, the location was changed from London to Prague in the remake.
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?
