Personally, this is my favorite Hammer despite Dracula not uttering a word.  I think it's superior to the previous entry in terms of pacing and plot -- plus it includes the best part of Horror of Dracula at the very beginning.  This is the one monster movie that actually scared me a a bit when I was young.  The whole blood resurrecting the Count ordeal was gruesome and stuck with me for years.  Plus, I saw this before Horror of Dracula, so the prologue sequence also left a huge impression.

It's a good one for sure, I just prefer the charismatic suave Dracula. It's a character trait you don't really see in any of the other monsters, so it makes him unique. I'm not sure what my favorite Hammer Drac is, though. I need to watch them again. All-time favorite Hammer Horror film is a toss up between The Abominable Snowman and The Hound of the Baskervilles. Love Curse of Frankenstein too.

Mord

It's considered the definitive Hammer Film for a reason. Great winner!

I stayed out of the Stripdown, because it was to painful to see Hammer films being thrown out.  I was so glad to see "Horror of Dracula" won.  It is my all time favorite Hammer film.
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?
