So I was reading a little bit about Elaine Riley when I came across this:

"Pages 18-20 of Life Magazine September 13, 1943 issue one finds an article about Hollywood trying to find the shapeliest "Shadow Girl". In RKO's psychological horror movie The Ghost Ship the leading lady is never seen. Only her shadow in silhouette is seen. To find the shapeliest "shadow girls" the studio dressed several of its stars in skin tight swim suits and had them parade behind a screen"

;D

Edit: I found more shadows! http://www.barbarahaleannex.com/cohort.htm

But who cares, the images are so good.  :)

"Collection of master production set stills from House of Dracula. (Universal, 1945) Collection of 35+ gelatin silver glossy 8 x 10 in. master production set stills from House of Dracula, featuring Lon Chaney Jr., John Carradine and Martha O'Driscoll. "

They got sold for sold for 3,750.00 USD in 2009. (I don't know to who)

Memphremagog

I can see where they had House Of Dracula titled "Destiny" during the production stages..this was the go-to title for everything from The Wolf Man through House Of Dracula during Universal's 1940's horror era
