This was a fond memory of mine from my childhood and I recently purchased the DVD set for the show. It doesn't disappoint. Is it cheesy... yep, a bit contrived... of course, that's why I love it.

I just what the episode "Carousel" in which Logan is shot with a dart that erases his memory of the previous year. He believes that he's still a Sandman, never met Jessica, and returns to the City of Domes to resume his old duties with Francis 7.

Lots of cool background on Sandmen, and a very nice seen of Jessica trying to seduce Logan in his apartment.

This show, Battlestar Galactica, and Buck Rogers made it great to grow up in the 70's.

For the external shots and the panoramic interior views, also it looked like they grabbed shots from the outside of the Carousel Hall. The rest was shot in what looked like a Mall.

Part of the movie was shot in a futuristic looking TX mall. That big open common area where the "Carousel" ceremony was held.

I remember seeing the movie on TV as a kid.  I remember thinking 'what's the big deal, they got until they reach 30?'  Then as an adult, I wondered WHO decided everybody rides the carousel when they turn 30?  Is that guy DEAD yet?  Why do they keep going along with it?  Obviously, I'm forgetting a MAJOR plot point.   :o

Why do they keep going along with it?

Because they're told they will be reborn. They've heard it all their lives, so they just accept it. Of course, there are a few who found out it was all a load of crap!

Okay.  Is the fabricator of the great lie ALIVE and like 105 years old living behind a curtain?  What happened to HIM?
