OK, for good or bad, probably will go see "Land of the Lost" loving the `70's Sid and Marty show the way I do.  Still not happy about the casting of Will Ferrell as Rick Marshell  :-[ , hope it won't turn out to be goofy.  Script change in that Holly and Will are not his children.  Holly is his assistant, Will is a survivalist.  Sleestaks look the same, can't find any photos on the dinosaurs.

If Ferrell's in it, I'm sure it will be played for campy laughs.  I don't think he'd give it a serious take.
Bringing terror and death across 4,000 years!

Ironic; he played "Marshall Willenholly" in Kevin Smith's JAY & SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK.

Wolf Man

There is a few on that list I may go see, well, ok all of them.  Land of the Lost could be a funny vehicle for a movie.  Not a big fan of Will Ferrell but he can sometimes be funny.
Even a man who is pure at heart......

When i was at Universal in Orlando in October, they had a poster of LAND OF THE LOST with Ferrell in a puffy shirt and high boots like he was a swashbuckler.  The Sleestak head looked the same but the feet widened out at the bottom and made them look cartoonish.  I am not a Ferrell fan, and I am very reluctant to see this film.

I think most of us agree that Will Ferrell SUCKS.  My main fear on this project, is it'll turn out really goofy like "Journey to the Center of the Earth" did.  A little subtle comedy is one thing, but not silly jokes every scene.  And I do already know from the choice on who's playing Rick Marshall, to expect comedy to be involved.  Still the sleestaks look good, and loving the `70's show, 85% chance I'll go see it.  Seriously not expecting a lot from it with Ferrell aboard.   The trailer for "Star Trek" looks great, though my wife has already condemned it because it doesn't have the original actors (picture Shatner as Kirk racing to the bridge with his walker).  The few scenes I've seen look great, I'll definitely see this.  The trailer for "Wolverine" look awesome as well.  At least there will be a few movies between now and "Wolfman" is released.

I am curious to see what kind of merchandising will be available.  The original series ahd very little.  The series that followed in the 1980s had a load of stuff, and even though the Sleestaks in that series looked more like miniature T-Rex bipeds, i did have fun collecting some of the toys.

If Will Ferrell is in the movie it will stink big time! I myself don't think he's funny and he's way over rated!
