This is the 2003 Incredible Hulk figure with a custom professional air brush paint job (not by me). The figure came out in conjunction with the movie. It is 13 inches tall. I am a long time Hulk collector and this is probably one of the most amazing Hulk figures I have seen. More like a statue than an action figure.

I'm not getting any pictures.

I can see them on my end. However, today I noticed that some of the pics in my older posts weren't coming through. I went to my image host site and the images were there. However, I could not bring them up or copy them. I think something is going on at photobucket. Let me know if/when they come up. I might have to look into it further.

Nice paint work! I have a rather large Hulk collection and I have both versions of this figure. Both have the same body, one with open mouth and one with closed. My favorite Hulk collectable that I have has to be this 3D version of THE INCREDIBLE HULK #1 comic cover. It's huge!

That is a beautiful Hulk piece. That one I do not have in my collection. As far as the 2003 movie Hulk. Did you know that in Canada, they produced 2 of their own versions of this figure? Both completely different figures, but in the same scale. They were complete rotocast figures, no cloth pants. One of these figures in particular was based more on the actual look of the Hulk from the 1980's comics. IMO, it is probably the best one out of all 4. The yellow blotches throughout the figure are normal. The entire line had them. Here are some pics.

Thanks Horrorman! I like how the head sculpt on the Hulk in that 3D piece looks like Frankenstein, protruding brow and flat top head. I have both of those figures as well and I like them better because they look more like the comic version of Hulk. Again, same body, just different head sculpts. I went to Universal Studios not long after the 2003 movie had been released and the gift shops were blowing out all the Hulk related stuff. The prices were great. I bought so much stuff that I had to have it carted to the front gate for me to pick up when I finally left. It's nice to meet other monster fans that appreciate the Hulk.  :)

Wow Glenn, a whole cart of Hulk stuff. Sounds like I would have done the same thing. Did you see the Disney store just released a brand new Hulk? It talks and is a massive 14 inches tall. I already ordered it. ;D It is much cheaper to order it directly through them. Here is the link.

Thanks for the link Horrorman. That is a nice piece. I went to Wondercon and saw this piece and a seller there wanted $42.00 for it. I looked it up on Amazon and got it for $18.95. This is a special collector's edition figure. This figure is so heavy you'd think it was made out of cement. I highly recommend it, especially if you like old school Hulk like I do.

Those are some really impressive Hulk pieces, gentlemen. I grew up on silver age Marvel, so I completely get the fascination with Hulk. Being a huge Frankenstein fan, the Hulk fits right in with any monster aesthetic.

Yes, I got that savage Hulk right when it was released. It is an awesome figure. I think I paid around $30 for it. My favorite Hulk look is the Sal Buscema version of the  Hulk from the comic book in the Late 70's until the mid 80's. Recently, I watch the 3 Hulk movies with Bill Bixby based on the tv show. The show was cancelled so abruptly, they never had the chance to do a finally. These 3 movies continue the story. If you are a fan of the series, then you will enjoy the movies. For anyone interested in seeing them, here are the titles. The Incredible Hulk Returns, The Trial of the Incredible Hulk and The Death of the Incredible Hulk.

The Hulk has always been my favorite comic book character. Unfortunately, I don't think the movies translated that well. The one with Ed Norton was pretty good or the better of the 2.

I should have known that you'd have that one.  :) Sal Buscema was a great Hulk artist. I think my least favorite was Steve Ditko. He was great for Spiderman, but just OK for Hulk. Jack Kirby will always be a favorite. Of more recent artists though Ed McGuinness is mind blowing. His renditions were so powerful.

I used to love the TV show. I was a working musician back when the show first premiered and I had a gig that night. I was so intent on seeing it I made the band change the time we went on so I wouldn't miss it. This was before VCR's were common.  :) I don't know if you saw this thread but I met Lou Ferrigno at Wondercon last week.

I agree that the 2nd Hulk movie was better. I was disappointed after walking out of the theater when I first saw the 2003 film. What was up with the Hulk's size? He was all over the map. When he fought the Hulk dogs he was huge! Betty Ross looked like a child's doll when he picked her up. Overall though I'm really pleased with the Avengers take on our favorite Marvel Character.
