I've never seen the chase sets on the Hammers before. On the average, how many chase subsets were there per series? Btw, a Yutte signature nude card would have been double-sweet. YUTTE, YUTTE, YUTTE...infinity
The six Hammer Horror Series varied greatly. The last two HH Series from Strictly Ink (2008,2010) had those two chase sets that I posted above which aren't too scarce. Those chase cards can still be found pretty easily for around $2-$4 each, and sometimes a set of all nine can be found for around 10 bucks. The thing is you have to order most of this stuff from UK so the shipping is a factor in cost even for trading cards. The really scarce (and expensive) cards are the autograph cards and some mostly crappy sketch cards from the Strictly Ink sets. The autograph cards are well worth what sellers want for them, but those sketch cards are not even on my radar at 50 bucks a pop. I might give $5-$10 for the sketch cards but that's about it, and then only because they are part of otherwise excellent sets. And speaking of excellent sets...Yutte wanted to pop in (pop out?) and say hi. Heeeeres Yutte:

I don't, but I would love to. Hepcat might, or McDougal whom I think is still AWOL presently.

Good stuff, geezer. That Godzilla box is really cool.

Thanks horrorhunter! I bought that box around 15-20 yrs ago. Probably paid $20 for it back then. The box is not wrapped, but the packs are unopened. Those were some lean times for me in terms of collecting. Back then most of my $$$ went to rent, ramen noodles, and beer---and not necessarily in that order.  But once in a while I'd snag something cool like those Godzilla trading cards.

I really like the Frankenstein Stickers but sadly all I have is the wrapper:

The actual stickers are both elusive and expensive. Kids used them up sticking them on lockers and binders.

Monsterwax says the wrappers are easier to find than the stickers. I've been looking for an image of #22, forever. Found the original art at Norm Saunder's site, but no sticker.

I found this pic on the interwebbings. Cool box.  8)    Wally Wood did the art on the box and wrapper according to the Norm Saunders website.

Here's the #22 artwork Mike mentioned:

Here's a link to the finished auction for the above box with 24 unopened packs. It sold for $2,489 in 2010.

Another box sold at auction for over $1700 last year. According to the Leland's website only those two full boxes are known to exist.

The key word here is known. In this context "known" means "offered for sale on a well known auction or other vintage memorabilia site". How many of these boxes reside in private collections treasured by the owner or forgotten somewhere on some dusty shelf in an old warehouse or someone's basement is unknown.

As usual, thanks for the Yutte, HH. I know it's a delayed response, but I was still staring at the picture while trying to clean the drool from my screen.

True. I was just reporting on what I googled up. There are probably at least a few that haven't come to market. This info just gives a general indication of rarity. Just think of the thousands of these cool stickers that ended up on some school locker or binder and got discarded over the years.  :'(  I know kids were just enjoying their stuff, but man! I gotta find that Wayback Machine.  ;D

One of the rarest monster card sets! (From the UMA Archives.)

I'm sure you're all familiar with the trading cards that came with the Monstertoon iron-ons. Try putting a set of these together!

Would very much like to have scans of the Creature, Frankenstein and Phantom cards!!

I don't have the Iron-Ons so I was unfamiliar with these. How many of these cards were there?

Just six. One for each monster. Creature card in package with Creature iron-on, etc.

These remind me of the NECA Headknockers, in a way.
