I don't remember ever seeing "The Curse of the Faceless Man." Is it a good one?

It's not an all-time classic, however, it is certainly watchable and entertaining. It is worth checking out if you have never seen it. :)
DARK SHADOWS:

David Collins: "Dead people dont just get up and walk around.."

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

Mike...In 3-D!

#6 & #7 of the Vestron Video Collector's Series were on my doorstep yesterday, Lair of the White Worm & Parents. I haven't seen Lair and it's been a few years since I last watched Parents. It's safe to say my weekend viewing is sorted.

My Blu-Ray of "Parents" is scheduled to be delivered today.

I saw it in the theater when it came out.  I tried to tell others about it, but it disappeared so quickly that only a couple people I knew ever saw it - and they didn't like it.

I hope the Commentary is entertaining and informative.

Just watched my new Blu-Ray of Invisible Invaders, 1959.

What a wonderful little stinker.  Looks like it was done on the budget for a single episode of a B&W George Reeves "Superman".

Was a little put off by the Tom Weaver Commentary.  Too negative.  Of course, it is not a timeless classic.  But it is a lot more typical of sci-fi movies of the time than was "Forbidden Planet".  Give it its pitiful due.

I didnt mind the commentary for INVISIBLE INVADERS, you should try the one for CURSE OF THE FACELESS MAN where the guy comments that Twice-Told Tales is a film that rips of Roger Corman's Poe pictures so badly that no one would dare say they like it. He also thrills with another real "chestnut" of knowledge of how THE ALLIGATOR PEOPLE was one of the best films that Corman made during his early AIP studio days. Yes some real knowledge being tossed around on this commentary, indeed.  ::)

:o ??   I can't even think of a movie he's mistaking that one for?

It was obvious after listening to him for around a quarter of the way through the film, that he was clueless as to most of what he was talking about.. :(

Not to step ahead of Memph, but those are fun. I have all three on earlier separate releases and they are pretty well done. I believe mine came from The Monster Club (the OTR site) folks.
