I always get everything mailed to me and everything I mail gets where it's going, in a reasonable amount of time.

I wish I were that lucky.

I think our mail system is great.  I can hand a personal letter directly to my carrier, and for less than half a buck, depend on the fact that a few days later it will be handed to the recipient on the other side of our large country.

DVD cases are made way too cheaply.  Not the fault of USPS.

To me, the mail system is 2nd only to our free public libraries.

I always get what I order, and what I send has always gotten there, so far. I joke about the Postal Apes but the USPS is very efficient. Unfortunately they are also efficient at mishandling packages to the point of ridiculous damage. The first Distinctive Dummies 1/6th scale figure I ever ordered (Count Yorga) arrived with a hole through the box right between the "G" and the "I" of the word "Fragile" like they were using it for a bullseye when practicing their staff strikes with a broom handle. Some of the stuff mail carriers pull is inexcusable. But, I know... I know... it could be much worse, and is much worse in many parts of the world. I guess we should be happy with what we have.

I wish you were, too! :)

Also, the only time (that I recall) getting a broken item, it was a fragile item that wasn't packaged properly.

Mike...In 3-D!

This little gem should be arriving tomorrow. I'm still in shock that it got a blu-ray release.

Great film. Let us know how the blu-ray looks. I have the DVD, but tempted to upgrade if it's worth it.

Just picked this up. No US Blu-ray release to my knowledge but the picture quality and extras are good. I didn't like this film that much when it was first released but I have a greater appreciation for it now. Plus it's got Ken Foree so you can't go wrong there.  :) The unrated version is better obviously. With this film it's like they tried to make Leatherface a franchise character like Jason or Freddie. They even gave him a custom chainsaw in this one that's pretty bad a** looking and paid homage to the second film with the "The Saw is Family" inscription on it. I also noticed that they made him more physically powerful in this film. In one scene when a couple is trying to drive away from him he rips the trunk lid off the car as they take off.

Will do! I just went ahead and picked it up because I only have it on a multi-pack. I'm trying to get stand alone copies of my favorites so I can eventually get rid of the multi-packs.

This is my favorite of all the sequels. It's a little more grim & serious than the others. It's also a very impressive version of Leatherface. And, yes, that chainsaw is pretty bad-*ss. It has a longer blade than the others (size does matter).

I can see why you like it. I watched it last night and really enjoyed it this time. I think seeing the unrated version (for the first time) made a difference too. The 80's and early 90's were a high point for horror. I miss these kind of flicks.

I can fully understand why you didn't like it at first. The R-rated version is terrible. Some of it makes no sense without the missing scenes. The director had to do that because it wouldn't get distribution in the unrated form. I really hate censorship (and political correctness, for that matter).

Still picking up stuff for the Universal collection. Need to get Buck, next.

If you want the FG movies, this Image set is the one to get. It's OOP, but you can find it at a decent price, if you look hard enough.

Into occult movies, much, HH? ;D
Not over other Horror subgenres. It's just that there were a lot of fun and interesting Satansploitation flicks in the '60s and especially '70s. Those 3 I received from Trash Palace are very HTF and have been on my want list for years. Thanks to Memph making me aware of Trash Palace I finally found a place that has all 3. They are DVD-Rs, of course, but with some movies you take what you can get.  :)

And, no, Mike. I'm not a Devil worshipper.
