I'm not sure if there is a discussion about this already on here, but I couldn't locate one.
WOWZ! I was watching the NBC morning show this fine day, and I saw a teaser for this! I rushed over to IMDB, and found out the details. So....Coming "soon" a 4 hour miniseries with Zoe Saldana & Jason Isaacs to star!
I LOVE Rosemary's Baby as a story & I have such sweet memories of watching the movie with my grandma- back in the 70s....so it's very precious to me.  I am very hopeful about this 4 hour mini series (I haven't watched a "miniseries" since the Stephen King movies from waaaay back when), and I am excited to see a horror movie pop up on network tv.
Has anyone heard any other info on this movie?

I don't think we've had a miniseries on TV since the King specials...  ha!

Definitely looking forward to this.

Wasn't there a bad made for TV movie in the 1970's about the baby having grown up, and becoming a pouting young adult with issues?
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

Yes there was. If memory serves it starred a young Steven McHattie as the spawn of satan grown up. I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I've never seen the original Rosemary's Baby. Do I have to turn in my monster kid card?

OMGosh! Steven McHattie! I KNOW I saw that movie! I keep getting it mixed up with Sam Neill's character in The Final Conflict.  I vaguely remember Rosemary's grown up spawn! Ha!
The original Rosemary's Baby used to be on tv at least once a month, when I was a kid! My grandma LOVED the movie, so I watched it on weekends or holiday vacations at her house. I'm pretty sure that's one of the main reasons  I love it so much   :)    I bought the dvd a few years ago because my husband had never seen it, and I've watched it a few times. Ruth Gordon is so scary to me- just because of her voice! I will be curious to see if NBC can come up with a movie as suspenseful & unsettling as the original....and I will be watching with my monster kid eyes....  ooooooh!

The made for tv movie is called Look What's Happened to Rpsemary's Baby.  Late 70's, I'm thinking 76.  I remember starting the movie and not being very interested in it.  I might try the miniseries.

I will definitely give the miniseries a shot.

I watched Look What's Happened to Rosemary's Baby for the first time a few months ago. Pretty forgettable, even with cast Ray Milland, Patty Duke, and Ruth Gordon. Gordon was TOTALLY wasted. And Brom, yes, you have to turn in your card, or see the original ROSEMARY'S BABY immediately. Not only the best horror film of the 1960s, but also one of the best films of the genre ever. Again Ruth Gordon (who won a best supporting actress Academy Award and a Golden Globe for ROSEMARY) is unbelievable. I have watched and rewatched her scenes dozens of times. The whole cast is fabulous, as is Polanski's direction and the original soundtrack recording. And you can watch for the William Castle cameo appearance!

I definitely will not be watching the miniseries. I love the film and can not watch a new version. >:D

Really, Mord?   I haven't met many who dislike the film. Interesting.

I'm with Mord! Far too slow for my liking and not creepy enough. I watched it twice too thinking I may have missed something...ah well, different strokes.

Not to mention that Mia Farrow used an ass body double. I will not tolerate that type of deception.
