BTW, it just dawned on me what photo inspired that Anchor Hocking Creature art.

For some reason it never dawned on me either that that photo inspired the image on the Anchor Hocking glass even though it's the same pose. Is that a real creature candy box in your photo, or a copy? Great creature display.

I was at a toy show today, and one of the vendors had one of these aquarium Creatures - identical to the $18.00 ones recently bought - on his table for $100.00.

Seen them selling for $50-100 on ebay, too. You might actually get that much for an unbroken one!

mine got here today! the envelope was intact and nothing rattled when i gave it a small shake.
opened it up and noticed the figure was heavily wrapped in bubble wrap.
carefully cut to remove and Viola' there it was!
happy to report ALL claws made it! and nothing appears broke!
