Very sad news. Didn't know Mark, but I'm sure we probably shared some posts at some point. He must of been a helluva guy based on all the comments here. Prayers go out to his family.

I just found out today.I'm saddened to hear of Mark's passing and as a newb here I never got the chance to know him :(. But from the other comments I've read here I know he will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family & friends.

PS:He was the first UMA member to welcome me to the fold and I will always remember him for this.

Just discovered this today and it's very, very sad news, indeed.  He was a truly great man, kind foremost, light and quick sense of humor, a fine artist and gentleman -- and a former wrestler, how cool is that?  My heart goes out to his family and his many good friends on board here.  It won't be the same without him.  Rest in peace, Mark.

Very sorry and very sad to hear the news. UP always had such great posts. He was one of THE members of think of when I think of this board. He cannot be replaced, but his memory will be here as long as there is a UMA.

Our fallen brother has been laid to rest. Our broken hearts start the slow, painful process of mending.

I would like to ask the UMA family to check out this thread. Pending approval by the Stamper family, I would like to coordinate a commemorative collectible in Mark's honor. Right now, the ideas range from an Unknown Primate resin bust or statue, or a Mark Stamper Mego-scale action figure. More details can be found in the thread.

Mark was a very positive force in UMA. Nobody was, or will be, adored as much as Unknown Primate. Words fall short but it's all we have.

It comforts me to believe that Mark still lurks here. I know that may sound creepy, but I don't mean it that way.

Can't believe Mark is really gone, and there won't be any more witty posts from him.  He was one of the few people here I got to know and had contact with outside of the UMA.  Rest in peace Mark.
