Great stuff! I love the stereotypes! The killjoys of the politically correct brigade would be falling all over themselves to get these banned were they on store shelves these days.

Yeah, the Generals are great!  :D

Anyone know anything about these guys?
They look to be plastic figures based on Parks' Born Losers model kit from 1961-

Those are new to me! And quite cool. Any markings on the base bottoms?

I have a question about the nutty mad tin cars, really interested in getting those, but what are the prices they go for? And are there any rarer ones, or all the same?

Also, Marx made their version of the Hawk Weird-Ohs monster hot rods:

It's interesting that the sculpts of the subsequent Marx Weird-Ohs figures were far superior to the sculpts of the actual Hawk models. It's ironic but the Marx figures are much more faithful reproductions of the box art of the Hawk kits than are the Hawk models.

Here's the Hawk Digger kit box art:

Here's an assembled Hawk Digger kit:

And here's a Marx Digger:

I wonder about that myself. I heard they were After-Marx probably from Mexico but I'm not sure.  :-\

That is a good question.....I looked the minis over very closely to see the quality of the down-size. They are very true to their larger brothers. I'll search around and see what I can find out....
