Naomi as Pepper from American Horror Story: Asylum

Had the pleasure of meeting the enchanting and talented Naomi Grossman at the Hollywood Collector Show today. Naomi plays Pepper on FX's "American Horror Story: Asylum". It's really amazing how they transformed such an attractive woman into this character -- Pepper was taken directly from the character "Schlitzie" in Tod Browning's 1932 film classic "Freaks" (see below). If you ever get the chance, be sure and say hi to Naomi -- she's a real sweetie (in addition to being a real Schlitzie).

I really liked the character on the show. Impressive makeup.

The missus and I loved 'Asylum', and she was a great character! I liked how it turned out, somewhat more realistically, that she was innocent of any crime, and was just another victim of the madhouse. I'm surprised there wasn't a thread for this excellent show. Can't wait for season 3; 'Coven'.

I loved both of the American Horror stories.  Looking forward to "Coven".
