McDougals House of Horror

We all love to be frightened or even terrified by horror/monster/sci-fi films, or we wouldn't watch 'em. Let's hear what your favorite scary scene is (and you have to post a photo or video of the scene or film).

I'll start it off with the one of the very first "oh my God, the stalker isn't dead!!" scenes from the 1967 classic "Wait Until Dark"...

"Do you know what I've got in those crates?"

When Amy turns into a vampire in the original "Fright Night", her fangs were HUGE !!!!!!

THIS scene from EXORCIST 3

This scene pictured, really scared me. The first time I saw the film. Exorcist 3.
"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

You mean like this...

"Do you know what I've got in those crates?"

Unknown Primate

" Perhaps he dimly wonders why, there is no other such as I. "

Radioactive Rod Whitenack

I have to admit that the scene depicted from "Exorcist III" is one of the best staged and paced "jump scares" I've ever seen. It gets me every time. Overall, I've always thought "Exorcist III" was underrated. George C. Scott really lifts the material.

Unknown Primate

One of my favorites is from THE HAUNTING (1963).  When the door starts breathing and the pounding begins!  Then Nell says something about Theo holding her hand - and Theo replies that she wasn't holding her hand!  Brrrr!
" Perhaps he dimly wonders why, there is no other such as I. "

The Creeper

There are so many of them!  Here is one!

Long live the UMA!

The Creeper

Sorry for some reason it came out small.  I will try again!
Long live the UMA!

Remember David Naughton in "An American Werewolf in London" sleeping tranquilly in a meadow, thinking peaceful thoughts, and suddenly awakening to look like this!!....

Great film. Definitely a scary film, to this day.
