The following paper dolls were originally uploaded to the old UMA Yahoo group by our beloved Linda Miller. Consider these as a Halloween gift from her to you.

You may print these out using your printer. Be sure to click the hot links directly below for the full size pics to print from. Print out on sturdy card stock. Enjoy!

The Phantom Creep

Wow, those are crazy!! I can't believe they have him from Lost Patrol. The Mord from Tower of London doesn't have his large clubfoot.

What exactly were these from originally?

I'm not sure where Meek pulled these from. I'm thinking it was from something like an old Hollywood magazine or the like? Perhaps Robert Taylor would know?

I remember seeing these when she posted them. I always thought she created them herself. She sure had the talent to do so! I'd be surprised to think these were a commercial product...hmmm.
Best,

Linda was sure up to the task - but those scans look to have book text on the edge. Maybe one of the Dovers?

I revisited the old UMA Yahoo Group archive and found this: Linda's original post regarding these paper dolls.

Foggy Morning Greetings:

I've just added a file with a paperdoll of Boris Karloff; the figure you dress is of him in his lioncloth from "The Lost Patrol" and his costumes are from "Frankenstein", "The Mummy", "The Raven", "Tower of London" and "The Mask of Fu Manchu" I hope the scans look better to you than they do to me. If you really want the images I can always makes copies of them for those of you eager to play dress-up. There's also a figure of Fay Wray in King Kong's paw, Laurel & Hardy, W.C.Fields and the Marx Brothers--and 26 six other movie stars from the 1930's---the book is "Thirty From the 30's" by Tom Tierney and was printed in 1974.(I used to have these long ago and far away--purchased with my hard earned allowance).

"Meek"(colored pencils, please)
